Darcica Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner with a multi-location operation. We currently operate from DSN1 in Swindon and DRG2 in Reading. Our drivers collect prepared delivery routes from their assigned station and complete the final stage of the journey, getting parcels to customers safely, accurately and professionally.
Behind every route is a wider operation across both locations. Our management teams plan daily coverage, allocate vehicles, support drivers on the road, manage vehicle issues and monitor the standards that matter most, including safety, reliability and customer experience. Operating from both Swindon and Reading also gives Darcica a broader delivery footprint and allows us to recruit for opportunities at more than one station.
For drivers, that means you are working independently while out on the road, but you are not working alone. There is a team at the station supporting the operation from start to finish.
The role is active, independent and customer-facing. You'll spend most of the day on the road, managing your own route while working to the delivery and safety standards expected by Darcica Logistics.
You'll arrive at your assigned delivery station, either DSN1 in Swindon or DRG2 in Reading, complete the required start-of-day checks, prepare your vehicle and load the parcels assigned to your route. Good organisation at the start of the day makes the route easier to manage.
You'll follow the route in the delivery app, drive between stops and deliver parcels to the correct customer location. This includes using safe locations properly, contacting customers when needed and recording each delivery accurately.
You represent Darcica throughout the day. We expect safe driving, respectful behaviour at customer properties, good communication and sensible decision-making when something does not go to plan.
Our drivers can be delivering through residential streets, villages and rural areas. These photos show some of the environments our vans and drivers have worked through.
No two delivery days are identical, but the overall structure is consistent and easy to understand.
Meet the team, check in, complete the required vehicle and app checks and make sure you are ready for the route ahead.
Collect your route from the station, load your parcels and organise the vehicle so you can work efficiently throughout the day.
Follow your route, complete deliveries safely and use the delivery app correctly at every stop.
If you have an issue with a route, a vehicle, access to a property or anything else, you can contact the team for support.
Return to your assigned delivery station, complete the end-of-day process, hand back anything required and finish once your route responsibilities are complete.
Delivery experience can be useful, but the right attitude matters just as much. We want people who turn up when expected, communicate well and take responsibility for working safely and professionally.
